A meeting was held at the department dedicated to listening to and discussing the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan. The event was attended by the faculty members of the department, assistants, and students.
The meeting was opened by the Head of the Department, Nabieva D.A. During the event, participants jointly watched and listened to the President’s address. The speech presented important initiatives aimed at the further development of the country, including scientific and technological progress, the development of education, and measures to reduce the shadow economy.
It was especially noted that, for the first time in the history of independent Uzbekistan, work has begun on creating a national satellite and preparing the first Uzbek cosmonaut. It was also emphasized that new measures are being introduced to support education, including scholarships for technical school students and the development of a dual education system.
After the address, a discussion was held with students and teachers about its main ideas, highlighting the importance of the ongoing reforms and their role in the development of the New Uzbekistan.
